The J-Sail has won more championships than any other sail ove many years, causing it to be the favorite of international competitors world wide, . At the 2016 World Championship held in Portugal , all of the top 5 places were sailing with a J-Sail! Gold went to Max Wallenberg from Switzerland (SUI 1749), Silver to Mathias Berthet from Norway (NOR 3919) and Bronze to Muhammad Fauzi Kaman Shah from Malaysia (MAS 151).Marco Gradoni from Italy (ITA 8705) came 4th and Juan Ignacio Queirel from Argentina (ARG 3553) came 5th!

For Competitors at 43 kgs +.
The basic JSail model introduced in 2000. The most successful sail used by many event winners. Excellent speed when sailing downwind. Marvelous performance in all nautical conditions, especially at long waves. In strong wind conditions it requires dynamic body and sheet work. Easy to trim, produced with plain or square cloth.
For competitors between 35 and 43-44 kgs.
Introduced in 2006, gradually getting its fair share in our product range. Excellent acceleration right after start and after turnings. Excellent performance in small waves as well as in big ones and at flat water conditions. Easy to trim, produced with plain or square cloth. Recently it has been used more and more frequently by heavier racers too.
For competitors up to 35 kgs.
Introduced in 2008 for the lightest sailors. Reccommended as the first sail for the youngest Optimist sailors however it does not mean it is slow J. The World Championship winner in 2016 (Vilamoura, Portugal) saild with J Green. Easy to trim, produced with plain or square cloth.
For the heaviest competitors - 50 kgs+.
Introduced in 2011 as a sail that can prolong the Optimist career of the sailors who need more thrust and can’t find enough in other sails. Initially it can cause some rolling problems when sailing downwind with strong winds. Easy to trim, produced with plain or square cloth.
